This tour is a fun and educational guided kayaking adventure in St. Martin’s Marsh Aquatic Preserve! We will see and learn all about this special Marine Ecosystem, Estuaries, Mangroves, Saltwater Fish, Dolphins, Shorebirds, and lots more! You never know what exciting wildlife action we’ll encounter on this adventure!
As the seasons change here in Florida, it opens the window to see several species of migratory marine life and birds such as manatees and white pelicans!
The scenic drive out here is just part of the journey! As you drive along this beautiful stretch, you are likely to see lots of wildlife, from osprey, owls, and kingfishers to deer, hogs, and turkey running freely on the islands. County Road 494, the Ozello Trail, runs a total of 9 miles from US 19 to its end at the small fishing town of Ozello, where our kayak adventure begins!
If you are looking for a great place to stop and eat on your way back, make sure you check out a great famous restaurant called Peck’s Old Port Cove.
